Hurdles and High Goals

On one of my final DLR rides, I was visiting with a young girl from Uruguay.  She was a hurdler on the team and had been offered full athletic scholarships at Kansas and Georgia. As she was talking a noticed her nails.  They had been done in one of the salons in the Olympic Village.  According to her, the salons were willing to do national flags for athletes! Hope she has lots of success and does make it to the U.S. She has a NYC vacation planned.
